Highlights include Review Week, where learners shared invaluable feedback on the programme, helping shape future improvements, and a six-week arts-based project with Falinge that nurtured collaboration, confidence, and self-expression.
Students also welcomed MP Elsie Blundell, exploring personal development and skills through discussion and a showcase of their culinary talents. Partnerships with Oak Haven and continued cooking and swimming sessions provided inclusive, supportive spaces for learners to build independence and practical skills.
The term also featured exciting activities like skiing at Chill Factore, a Rochdale Town Hall visit, and an inspiring Career Month with visits to Hopwood College, Amazon, and a construction site managed by Russel WBHO. Mad Science and Options Week offered hands-on STEAM projects and creative activities, encouraging curiosity, teamwork, and exploration of new passions.
Together, these experiences reflect EBFT’s commitment to fostering growth, confidence, and meaningful opportunities for all learners.
